SISTAR's Hyorin tears up during press conference for 'HopeTV'

SISTAR's Hyorin spilled tears reflecting on her trip to Africa.

SBS' 'HopeTV' held their press conference at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul on the 8th, and among those in attendance were actor Jo Min Soo, Kim Ah Joong, Kim Kang Woo, and SISTAR's Hyorin and Soyu.

The stars previously teamed up with�the program�and the�Miral Welfare Foundation to conduct charity work in Liberia to help those in need.



During the press conference, a video clip of the children in the village they traveled to were shown, and the idols had a tough time holding back the tears as they narrated for the clip. They were also given a chance to video chat with one of the children, Mary, providing for a heartwarming reunion, even if it was just through screens.

Hyorin also commented, "I felt like there was nothing I could do there for the children so I would hold their hands and pray, 'Please help these children,'" as she teared up. Her fellow member Soyu consoled Hyorin as she wiped her tears.

This program documenting the stars' trip will be broadcast over a two day period on the 10th and 11th.
