SISTAR's Hyorin talks like a guy before going on stage?

On the February 20th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Vitamin', SISTAR's Hyorin revealed an interesting vocal technique.

When asked how she maintains her trademark husky voice,�Hyorin shared, "I talk in a low voice. Because my family's vocal chords are generally weak, if we get together and talk, we get hoarse easily. Because it's something I'm born with, I pay attention to taking care of my voice."

She continued to say that she purposefully lowers her voice before going on stage.�"If I'm not feeling well, you can immediately tell by my voice. Before I go on stage, I talk to release my throat or else it closes up. So I talk in a low pitched voice to bring the least stress to my vocal chords."

Bora added, "As long as I don't catch a bad cold, I have a naturally high tone. My voice is the opposite of Hyorin's, and I think that's the secret to our success."
