On March 21st, IU released her Japanese debut single album, 'Good Day.' After one day of release, the album ranked sixth on the singles chart, and it seems it will continue to climb the chart. People in Japan were already interested in IU's debut even before she had made her way over to Japan as she had already established herself as the number one solo artist in Korea.
On April 8th, IU made an guest appearance on NHK's music program, 'Music Japan' to perform the Japanese verion of her hit song, "Good Day". This broadcast featured a great mix of today's popular artists in addition to IU including: Perfume, Morning Musume, Fairies, and Sexy Zone.
