After becoming embroiled in a gambling controversy five months ago, Shin Jung Hwan has finally returned to Korea through Gimpo Airport at 11:09 AM KST on January 19th.
It's been exactly 146 days since he last left for the Philippines on August 27th, 2010, and his arrival was greeted by reporters who had been waiting on standby.
Standing in front of the reporters for a full minute, the star ignored questions about his controversy, and could only repeat his apologies as he delivered a deep bow. He then rushed out of the airport to answer his summons to the Seoul Provincial Police Agency.
According to investigators, should it be confirmed that he gambled overseas, he'll be jailed for a minimum of three years with a $20,000 USD bail.
