FT Island's Flower Rock is #3 on Oricon Daily

Rocker idol group FT Island definitely left an impression on Japanese fans with the release of their debut single Flower Rock as the boys are now gracing the #3 position on Oricon charts. FT Island first dropped the news about entering the Japanese music market around late March and soon after, they released the full MV for their debut single Flower Rock. The full single was released on the 19th and has already hit the #3 spot on the Oricon Daily Singles chart. A representative of the group stated, "On the Japanese Tower Record charts, the boys are also on the third position, right behind Arashi. The group held a fansigning event at Tower Record Shibuya to commemorate their album release. Within an hour, all the albums had been sold out." This is the first official album release for FT Island. Years prior, the boys had been releasing Japanese albums under an indie label. That all changed this year when the boys signed with Warner Music Japan earlier this year.
