T-ara performs Like the First Time on Music Core

On this week's episode of MBC Music Core, T-ara traded in their cat ears and tails for glittery dresses and lace-y gloves, promoting their follow-up song and my personal favorite from their album, Like the First Time.�Sadly, Jiyeon was unable to join her fellow members on stage as she was busy with filming for KBS 2TV's high school drama 'God of Study.' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOg6yHqdgrc cr: monmonsnowHD Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was bitterly disappointed by T-ara's performance. For one, Jiyeon was missing, the rap was omitted and there was hardly any live singing. Either the backtrack was so loud that it was drowning out their voices or the girls were intentionally lip-synching. Regardless of the real reason, it's rather unfair for fans who have been dying to see this song performed. Unfortunately, we will have to wait next week for T-ara to perform Like the First Time again as they are scheduled to close their promotions for Bo Peep Bo Peep on SBS Inkigayo tomorrow. Until then, they should squeeze in time for rehearsals because their performance of Like the First Time has a lot of room for improvement. I really hope the girls bring it next time because Like the First Time is one helluva track that deserves to be properly translated on to stage.
