It was revealed today that Kim Nam Gil had contracted swine flu which seems to be making it's round around the entertainment industry, alarming the Queen Seon Duk production team and fans. According to a representative on the 19th, Kim Nam Gil had developed a fever followed by a cough two days ago after intensive filming for the past week. After going through a thorough examination today, it was confirmed that Kim Nam Gil had contracted swine flu. Kim Nam Gil is currently at home, receiving care and treatment, as he isolates himself from the rest of the world. The representative said, "It's regrettable that such a thing has happened. He will return to filming as soon as he recovers fully from it." With Kim Nam Gil playing an extremely pivotal role as the ultimate villain, Bidam in the latter stages of the drama, the production team are hopeful that he can return quickly to filming. Modifications will be made to the script to accomodate his absence. This is not the first time that Kim Nam Gil has met with a mishap on set, having injured himself while riding a horse late last month. We wish him a speedy recovery.
