Korean producing duo E-TRIBE, who have secured their success with popular dance tracks Lee Hyori's U-Go-Girl and SNSD's Gee, has prepared another song that is sure to top the charts once again. The big surprise here, though, is that E-TRIBE did not hand their next track to a currently popular artist / group, as they have done in the past, but have sung the song themselves! Expected to be released on online music sites on the 19th, Mom is a ballad track with a music style that is reminiscent of the '70 - '80s. The song will boast majestic brass and string instruments with harmonious vocals provided by the duo's main vocalist, E.D. Producer Ahn Myung Won, the other member of the team, invested feelings of nostalgia for his own mom into the song. Not only is this a sweet gesture, but Ahn Myung Won sets the par high for people who plan to buy their mothers a nice gift for the coming holiday. I don't know about you, but now I feel obligated to give my mother something sentimental instead of the usual Bath & Body Works gift card or a new pair of dishwashing gloves. An acoustic version of Mom will be released as well so that listeners will be able to feel a different charm to the song. Seeing as everything E-TRIBE turns to gold, my spidey beasty senses are tingling with excitement for their next hit-to-be! What about you?
