Actress Amy (28), has been known to gab away to the press a time or two, whether it's about her personal life or her professional life. She recently received some negative criticism in regards to some comments she had made about her breakup with Lee Min Woo last July; this time around, she has decided to reveal her professional ambitions and boy, is she serious! Amy has revealed her upcoming schedule, which includes appearances on variety programs, a drama and a few movies. She has expressed concern over her current stance as a middle-of-the-road actress- not famous enough to be hailed a star, yet not so unknown as to be called a commoner. For that very reason, Amy has decided to reinforce herself as a serious actress and entertainer. Though Amy's name has appeared in a number of articles and her face has become somewhat recognized, in terms of actual projects she has worked on, there are but two: "Witch Diaries" and Happy Sunday's "Kko Kko Tour." Many are curious as to why Amy has suddenly decided to take her career off the back burner. Amy replied, "When I started filming 'Witch Diaries,' I didn't take it too seriously. I wasn't really interested in becoming part of the entertainment industry back then. However, I've come to the realization that now is my time. If I don't challenge myself now and prove my potential, I'll probably never have this opportunity again." Amy is a woman who likes to challenge herself, and for the most part, has succeeded. She operates an online shopping mall called "The Amy" and rakes in an estimated $2 million dollars in sales per year. Amy claims, "Although most people try to figure out who they are and what they want to do during their adolescent years, I went abroad to study at such a young age and focused solely on becoming a hotelier. I didn't have the opportunity to experience other things. Finally, I feel like I've figured out who I am and what I want to do. I want to show everyone what I'm made of!" Finally, the topic of love cannot be completely avoided. Amy has claimed, "Right now, I don't have a boyfriend. I think I'm more stable now. My shopping mall business is doing well and I'm about to focus more on my acting career. To be honest, my father and grandfather disowned me for a year when I started acting. But now, they see me in a different way and for the first time, I was able to give them spending money and I like the way I'm living now." Amy went on to discuss her preference for work, rather than dating at the moment, but also claimed that if love were to come knocking, she would not turn it away.
