Onew steps down from 'Youth Generation 2'

After his recent sexual harassment case at a club this past August 12, the idol was�demanded off the drama. Onew was cast as the romantic interest for Seungyeon's character, who suffers from trauma from past date violence. However, as Onew has been accused of inappropriately touching someone while drunk, viewers reasoned it would throw off the drama completely. YTN�had reported earlier today that Onew had left the drama. JTBC had initially denied the rumors and said, "We have not decided on Onew leaving the show."

However, SM Entertainment�confirmed shortly after, "We talked to the staff and decided ultimately that he would be leaving the drama." JTBC has yet to decide any further course of action, including a replacement actor for Onew's role. Stay tuned for updates.�
