Plans for 'Hwarang' to be made into a musical fall through

KBS 2TV's 'Hwarang' will not be made into a musical.

'Hwarang' said, "During the process of checking the producing 'Hwarang' into a musical, we decided not to do it. From the start, we were just looking it over."

The producers of the drama had been working with Asia Bridge Contents to make the drama into a musical. However, for reasons unsaid, the drama will remain just a drama, and plans to make it into a musical have fallen through.
