Previously, it was announced that Big Bang were to guest on 'Infinity Challenge' and 'Radio Star'. In the latest exclusive report, the group is also participating in a recording for 'Weekly Idol' soon! YG Entertainment confirmed so, stating, "Big Bang is appearing on 'Weekly Idol'. Please look forward to it."

In addition, an insider commented, "It's true that Big Bang have been refraining from variety shows for the past couple of years. However, Yang CEO's opinions have changed this time. He thought of the fans, considering how they won't be able to see all of Big Bang together for awhile due to T.O.P's military enlistment."
Meanwhile, in 2013, G-Dragon made a solo appearance on the idol show for his partner, Jung Hyung Don, from 'Infinity Challenge's 'Song Festival'. This will be the first time all 5 members of Big Bang will be appearing on the show together.
