IU to perform a halftime mini-concert at pro basketball game

Singer IU will put on a mini-concert at a pro basketball game on February 11th.

Samsung Electronics announced on February 8th that�"The Galaxy's model, IU, has been invited to perform at the "Galaxy Note Event" at the Seoul Jamshil Stadium, where she will put on a halftime mini-concert and shoot some hoops. We are looking forward to the audience's support and attention."

This season, the Samsung Thunders' biggest audience was clocked at 8,286 people on October 16th. A representative for Samsung revealed that the sponsors were determined to reach a new figure, and said, "If the size of the audience exceeds this record, three Galaxy Notes with IU's autograph and autographed basketballs will be given out."

IU commented, "I wish to contribute to the fun by performing the halftime show at the Jamshil Stadium."

With IU slotted to shoot some hoops on top of performing a small show, fans will undoubtedly flock to the stadium and break the old record!
