MBC's "I Am A Singer" will finally resume broadcasting after taking a month-long hiatus due to the various controversies surrounding the show. In an official report made by MBC on April 13th, the network declared:
"'I Am A Singer' will hold its next recording on the 18th, and resume broadcasting on May 1st. The program will continue with the original format of eliminating a legendary singer from a group of seven legendary singers from the Korean music industry.�In addition, we will be working to reflect the opinions of the viewers as much as possible for details regarding regulations. The show will be returning with four of the original seven:�Lee Sora, Yoon Do Hyun, Park Jung Hyun, and Kim Bum Soo. As you all know, Jung Yeob was eliminated in the last episode, and Kim Gun Mo took a voluntarily leave. Baek Ji Young has decided to voluntarily leave the show as well due to conflicting schedules with her upcoming album production."Stay tuned for more updates. Source: Star News via Nate
