The boys of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki have achieved "Gold" (100,000 sales) in Japan numerous times for their singles but now they've achieved their first ever "Platinum" for their new single Break Out!
The RIAJ or Recording Industry Association of Japan states that you need at least 250,000 sales to achieve Platinum and Break Out! moved 255,917 units in one week.
