INFINITE’s Lee Sungyeol released his new track “Asteroid” on December 12.
The title song “Asteroid” delicately captures the wavering emotions that surface in the face of love, likening them to a small star drifting through the vastness of space. Set against a gently flowing melody, Lee Sungyeol’s soft, whisper-like vocals evoke the image of an asteroid slowly circling another orbit before quietly seeping in, highlighting his deepened emotional expression and evolving musical color.
Through this release, Lee Sungyeol showcases a more mature sensitivity, conveying subtle yet resonant feelings with restraint rather than intensity. The song’s atmospheric sound and poetic imagery leave a lingering impression, allowing listeners to fully immerse themselves in its quiet emotional landscape.
His agency explained, “Lee Sungyeol worked closely with the composer to add sincerity to the song, aiming to convey his true feelings while preserving the original charm of the track.
