IU completely surprised Park Bo Gum on the final episode of his music talk show, 'Park Bo Gum's Cantabile'.
Right before her entrance, IU appeared on screen to congratulate Park Bo Gum on the successful completion of his music talk show with a video message. She said, "Back when you filmed the first episode, I promised that I would guest on the show before it ended. I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise. So because I couldn't keep my promise, I'm here."
The screen cut out and IU walked onto the stage with a bouquet of flowers, catching Park Bo Gum by surprise. The actor teared up at the sweet surprise by his good friend but commented later, "I'm so embarrassed that I cried."
On the fly, Park Bo Gum and IU delighted audiences with a short duet of "Square's Dream" as well as a full version of the duet "Friday". IU also dedicated a verse of her remake song "Red Sneakers" to the host.
