Singer songwriter Song Yerin has been revealed as the sixth artist to contribute to the OST of tvN's weekend drama 'Love Your Enemy'. Her song, titled 'I Wish It Were Me,' will be released on December 14 at 6 PM KST on various music platforms.
'I Wish It Were Me' is a touching ballad with a gentle and nostalgic melody that harmonizes beautifully with Song Yerin's soulful voice. The song delves into the complex and tender emotions between Seok Ji Won (played by Joo Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (played by Jung Yoo Mi), as love begins to blossom again between the former sworn enemies.
With heartfelt lyrics like "Even as countless seasons and years pass / My heart is still filled with you," the track captures the deep yearning and love of two characters who reunite after 18 years. The evocative lyrics are expected to enhance the viewers' emotional connection to the drama.
Song Yerin, a celebrated singer-songwriter, first gained recognition after winning the gold prize at the '30th Yoo Jae Ha Music Competition' in 2019. Known for her dreamy and emotionally resonant self-composed tracks such as 'This Is Love,' 'Breathing and Dancing,' 'Sea,' '113,' and 'Here,' she continues to impress with her unique musical style and creativity.
'Love Your Enemy' tells the story of Seok Ji Won and Yoon Ji Won, who were born on the same day into feuding families.
