SHINee's Key opens up about his income & family life

SHINee's Key opened up about his income and family life.

On February 22, Key featured as a guest on Kian84's ongoing YouTube series 'Life Kian84'. Kian84 started out by reading the SHINee member's profile, saying, "You lived in a rich neighborhood? Didn't you live in the Gangnam of Daegu," and Key responded, "I'm not from Suseong-gu. I moved to Suseong-gu."

When asked if it was because his family suddenly did better financially, Key said, "My mom and dad didn't have any money to give me, and I debuted in high school. College costs money, and living alone costs money. I moved away after I debuted." 

Kian84 then asked if Key's family moved because he sent money to them, and the SHINee member expressed, "We don't share anything. If I give a gift, then I do. My parents get their pride hurt when I give them money like that. In my family, my mom doesn't know how much my dad makes financially, and my dad doesn't know how much my mom makes," surprising Kian84.
