Comedian Lee Sae Young relayed a rather bitter episode from her past.
On October 30 KST, the comedian took to her personal YouTube channel where she uploaded a video in which she talked about her rookie days. The comedian started out as an entertainment reporter on television. Although there were kind and well-mannered actors and actresses, Lee Sae Young revealed that there were also extremely rude and insensitive ones.
One time, Lee Sae Young was assigned to interview this actress for a 30-minute interview. But, because the actress was feeling "unwell," the interview was cut to 10 minutes. As a rookie, Lee Sae Young was very flustered, having to change the questions last minute.
The next time that she and the actress met again for a different interview, the actress did not return the gesture when she greeted her. Right before the interview, the actress was caught chewing a gum and was recommended by others to throw it out.
Lee Sae Young said, "In that moment, the actress had no clue where to throw out the gum, so thinking that I had to make this interview count, I spread out my hands and told her 'Please spit it out here.' There was no time to grab a tissue or anything, and I really wanted to create a good atmosphere."
"In my hand, there was the gum that she was chewing, throughout the entire 15 minutes, and thankfully, the interview went well," shared the comedian.
In other news, back in June, Lee Sae Young revealed plans to marry her Japanese boyfriend sometime next year.
