GOT7's BamBam revealed he joined Abyss Company because of Sunmi.
BamBam and Sunmi were previously labelmates under JYP Entertainment, and the GOT7 member says he chose to sign with Abyss Company (formerly known as Makeus Entertainment) because of her. On May 7, their new label shared the above clip of the two artists, who share the same birthday on May 2.
BamBam expressed, "I signed with Abyss Company because of you. I called you," and Sunmi responded, "Abyss, thank you. Thank you for signing with us, BamBam." The two also shared the same pose in birthday photos on their Instagrams below.
In related news, GOT7's contract with JYPE wrapped up this past January, and all 7 of the members chose to leave the agency.
