Previously, BoA's Japanese staff commenced the singer's 20th Japanese anniversary with #BoA20yearsInJapan. 

Last year marked BoA's twentieth anniversary of her debut in South Korea and various SM Entertainment artists celebrated the anniversary with a special cover of BoA's iconic songs.

Artists including Red Velvet and Baekhyun covered BoA's songs such as "Milky Way" and "Garden in the Air."

On May 28 KST, BoA released the first teaser for the 20th-anniversary celebration for her debut in Japan.
