Six idol groups: Elris, Verivery, Cherry Bullet, Oneus, Rocket Punch and OnlyOneOf competed in SBS's "Dancing Idol" special episode of Shindong Gayo. The main themes were K-Pop dance cover challenge and random dance cover battle.

Shindong (Super Junior) and YooA (Oh My Girl) were MC's of the whole broadcast, and they've also joined participants on stage.
