Over the past 20 years, a pair of Japanese siblings visited Korea more than 40 times.

On May 1, a special event was held celebrating 'Welcome Week' awarding the 'Korea Mania' siblings free roundtrip tickets to Seoul.

Japanese siblings Nagabuchi Hisashi (43) and Nagabuchi Noriko (45) fell in love with Seoul after visiting a friend in Korea twenty years ago.

Since then, the passionate brother and sister siblings have been visiting Seoul whenever they had the chance, which has been more than 40 times.

They commented, "We visit every time we are craving for Korean food." Nagabuchi Noriko stated, "Korean food is delicious and we are glad that we don't have to stand outside in long lines to enter a restaurant."

Nagabuchi Hisashi said, "Compared to 20 years ago, the streets have become very clean and trendy.  It's great to see everything located in one area for convenient access.  Also, we come here often knowing that Korea is one of the safest places to be in."

The siblings then expressed their love once more for Korea saying, "We are planning to come to Seoul with our entire family next time," promising to continue their journeys to the neighboring country.

True koreaboos... well, to be fair a lot of Koreans must be weeaboos too with their obsession over manga, anime, hentai etc. :)

Loving a country doesn't make you a Koreaboo. They actually love the country rather than being just a Kpop fan, but hating the country and its people like many people here.

I know, I was just kidding, should have put ’’/s’’ at the end :)

honestly other than the language barrier it's like going from SF to LA or NY to DC or Boston for the weekend. flights are that cheap and Seoul until fairly recently was much cheaper than Tokyo which has been one of the most expensive cities for 40 years

Be careful about the reckless driving habits in Korea, though. It is so bad that many K-Pop idols got in car accidents. A famous DJ was killed in a car accident relatively recently. SJ's Hee-Chul was in car accidents THREE TIMES, including one bad case where his leg was fractured in five places. As a result, he can not dance without his leg getting painful swelling for few hours after each concert.

lulzbrooks ed_levy Monday, May 8, 2017

It's cheaper sometimes if you get a good deal.
