Lee Hwi Jae had suspended his broadcasting activities after moving to Canada with his family in 2022, which led to speculation about retirement and immigration. Recently, his wife Moon Jung Won drew attention by sharing an update on her social media on March 3 for the first time in nearly four years since August 2022. With Lee Hwi Jae and Moon Jung Won also reportedly spotted in Korea, speculation about his return to broadcasting had been growing.
