Singer and actress Nana introduced the official music video for “Black Star,” an original soundtrack from the drama 'Climax,' on March 31 at 6 PM (KST).
“Black Star” is a heartfelt ballad that captures the inner thoughts, emotional depth, and life journey of the character Hwang Jeong Won. The track delicately unravels her narrative, blending a poignant piano melody with Nana’s expressive and emotive vocal tone. The lyrics, which mirror the character’s emotional landscape, are expected to heighten viewers’ immersion in the story.
'Climax' follows the intense survival story of prosecutor Bang Tae Seop, played by Ju Ji Hoon, who steps into a powerful cartel in pursuit of the highest position in South Korea. Nana portrays Hwang Jeong Won, a mysterious figure who operates behind the scenes, providing critical information while maintaining a subtle yet commanding presence.
Known for her ability to build layered emotional performances in her acting roles, Nana is now expanding her artistry through this OST. By translating her character’s emotional arc into song, she offers a new dimension of expression. The track is also expected to deepen the drama’s impact, especially as Jeong Won’s hidden past and her feelings toward Chu Sang Ah, portrayed by Ha Ji Won, begin to surface.
With “Black Star,” Nana not only enhances the emotional resonance of 'Climax' but also leaves a lasting impression on viewers through both her performance and her voice.
