Danielle, who was recently removed from NewJeans, was spotted cheering at the Tokyo Marathon on March 1.
According to a report by MyDaily on March 1, Danielle attended the Tokyo Marathon held in Tokyo, Japan, where she was seen supporting the runners.
Previously known for her strong passion for running as part of the running crew 'Unknown' alongside singer Sean, Danielle showed her continued love for the sport by attending the event to cheer on Sean and other participants. Actor Lee Si Woo was also present. Danielle appeared cheerful, smiling brightly and taking photos with fans.
Last December, ADOR announced, “We have determined that it is difficult to continue working with Danielle as a member of NewJeans and as an artist under ADOR, and we have notified her today of the termination of her exclusive contract. We also plan to hold legally accountable one member of Danielle’s family and former CEO Min Hee Jin, who bears significant responsibility for causing this dispute and the delay in NewJeans’ departure and return.”
ADOR subsequently filed a damages lawsuit worth approximately 43.09 billion KRW (approximately 30 million USD) against Danielle, one of her family members, and former CEO Min Hee Jin. The case has been assigned to the same judicial panel that previously handled the stock dispute litigation involving Min and HYBE.
Meanwhile, within NewJeans, members Hyein, Haerin, and Hanni have returned to ADOR, while discussions regarding Minji’s return have reportedly been ongoing for the past three months.
