
In a heartwarming reunion that stirred nostalgia among K-drama fans, actors Park Shin Yang and Lee Dong Gun met again for the first time in 20 years.
On the March 1 episode of 'My Little Old Boy' on SBS, actress Moon Chae Won, widely known as the “icon of first love,” appeared as a special guest. The broadcast drew particular attention for the long-awaited reunion between Park Shin Yang and Lee Dong Gun.
During the show, Lee Dong Gun visited Park Shin Yang, who is currently active as a painter, together with comedian Heo Kyung Hwan. Their appearance together marked their first shared screen moment since the 2004 hit drama 'Lovers in Paris,' making the reunion especially meaningful for viewers.
Lee Dong Gun remarked, “I briefly saw him at an awards ceremony about 10 years ago, but this is the first time we have properly met in two decades.” Heo Kyung Hwan added a lighthearted moment by showing a photo he once took in front of Park Shin Yang’s waiting room during his “flower beggar” days, bringing laughter to the set.
Park Shin Yang and Lee Dong Gun gained immense popularity through 'Lovers in Paris,' where they played half-brothers who fell in love with the same woman. Their compelling performances and emotional rivalry helped the drama achieve legendary status and lasting popularity.
