Cheetah has surprised fans with a dramatically softer image, shedding her once fierce persona to reveal a more elegant and artistic side.
On March 2, Cheetah shared photos from her time in the Philippines on social media, posing against a city nightscape while wearing sunglasses.
Previously hinting at her hair transformation with the caption, “Guess how long my hair has grown,” she has since drawn attention for her dreamy and graceful visuals. Online reactions included comments such as, “I barely recognized her,” “She looks like an actress,” and “Is this really Cheetah?”
Beyond music, Cheetah — whose real name is Kim Eun Young — is actively working as a painter. From March 9 to April 4, she will hold a solo exhibition titled 'VOICES BEYOND SOUND: From Human Greed' at Hwang Chang-bae Art Museum in Seoul’s Yeonhui-dong. The exhibition will feature 22 works, from her early piece Genesis to new creations, exploring themes of life encompassing nature, animals, and humanity.
Debuting in 2010 with the single “Money Can’t Buy Me Love,” Cheetah built a reputation for her unique charisma in the hip-hop scene. She also continued her music career with the digital single “Hotline” released in July last year.
Now standing before the public not only as rapper Cheetah but also as artist Kim Eun Young, her evolving journey is drawing renewed interest.
