TWICE is continuing its strong momentum across North America with television appearances and a large scale world tour.
On February 23rd (local time), TWICE appeared on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'. Having previously delivered memorable performances on the program in 2021 and 2023, the group returned after about three years to perform “Strategy.”
Dressed in hip styling, the members captivated audiences with a powerful performance that highlighted their confident “hot girl” energy, heating up both online and offline platforms.
Released in December 2024, “Strategy” was later featured on the original soundtrack of Netflix’s hit animated series 'KPop Demon Hunters', drawing renewed attention. The track charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 17 consecutive weeks and surpassed 300 million cumulative streams on Spotify as of the day the show aired, underscoring its strong local reception.
Meanwhile, TWICE is currently on the North American leg of their sixth world tour, ‘THIS IS FOR’, which kicked off in Vancouver in January. Concerts held on February 18, 20, and 21 in Belmont Park signaled a successful run, with a 360 degree open stage allowing fans to enjoy performances of the group’s hit songs from all angles. Special stages, including solo performances and “TAKEDOWN” (performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung) from the 'KPop Demon Hunters' OST, have added further excitement.
The North American tour will span 35 shows across 20 cities through April, concluding in Austin. From March 20 to 22, TWICE will also hold a solo concert in Taipei. On April 25, 26, and 28, the group will make history as the first overseas female artist to perform at the National Stadium in Tokyo, followed by concerts in eight European cities in May and June. Altogether, TWICE will meet fans across 43 regions with 78 solo concerts, marking the largest scale world tour of their career.
