Rumors are swirling around 'Single’s Inferno 5' star Kim Min Ji after speculation emerged that she may be dating fellow cast member Yoon Hyun Jae in real life.
On February 12, Kim Min Ji commented on Yoon Hyun Jae’s social media post, writing, “Yoon Hyun Jae, there are rumors that we’re a real-life couple. What do you think?” In response, Yoon Hyun Jae playfully replied, “Let’s clarify it on YouTube,” drawing attention from fans.
The speculation began after online community posts claimed the two were spotted together. During the show, however, Kim Min Ji and Yoon Hyun Jae showed romantic interest in different contestants. Kim Min Ji pursued Song Seung Il, while Yoon Hyun Jae expressed his feelings for Lee Ju Young. There was little indication of romantic tension or connection between the two on screen.
Notably, Kim Min Ji ultimately became a final couple with Song Seung Il on the Netflix dating reality series. As a result, the rumors linking her to Yoon Hyun Jae have sparked heightened curiosity among viewers.
While some netizens speculated that the two may have developed a relationship after filming ended, Kim Min Ji appeared to brush off the rumors in a lighthearted manner. Yoon Hyun Jae also responded with wit, further suggesting that the situation may not be serious.
Meanwhile, the finale of 'Single’s Inferno 5,' released on February 10, saw five couples formed: Kim Min Ji and Song Seung Il; Mina Sue Choi and Lee Sung Hoon; Lee Ju Young and Kim Jae Jin; Kim Go Eun and Woo Sung Min; and Lim Soo Bin and Park Hee Sun.
Among them, Lim Soo Bin and Park Hee Sun have also been swept up in real-life dating rumors following sightings and reports of matching couple rings. In the official preview for Single’s Inferno Reunion, the two were seen holding hands and feeding each other, prompting speculation that they may have effectively confirmed their real-life relationship.
