The final selections for 'Single’s Inferno 5' have been revealed.
In the season finale (Episode 12), released on Netflix on February 10, the 15 male and female participants made their ultimate choices. This season introduced a new rule allowing contestants to forgo a final selection if they did not wish to choose anyone.
First, Kim Min Ji stood at the “Hell Gate.” The male contestant who chose her was Song Seung Il. He said, “You’ve worked hard. Let’s go eat something delicious.” Kim Min Ji shared that she didn’t normally believe in fate, but her experience on 'Single’s Inferno' made her believe, and she admitted she liked Song Seung Il. The two became a final couple.
Park Hee Sun was chosen by Lim Soo Bin. She reciprocated his choice, and the pair became the second final couple, leaving the island together.
Next, Mina Sue Choi stepped in front of the gate. The male contestant who selected her was Lee Sung Hun (Samuel Lee). Mina Sue Choi also chose him, forming another final couple.
Lee Joo Young had two suitors: Yoon Hyun Je and Kim Jae Jin. She ultimately chose Kim Jae Jin.
Kim Go Eun was chosen by Woo Sung Min, Jo I Gun, and Shin Hyun Woo. Unexpectedly, she selected Woo Sung Min, surprising the panel.
Lee Ha Eun, who was not chosen, opted to select Kim Jae Jin. Ham Ye Jin was the only contestant to forgo a final selection.
This season featured eight male and seven female contestants.
Male Contestants:
- Yoon Hyun Je (b. 1999) works in IT, placed 2nd in 2024 Mister International Korea, and ranked in the Top 11 of 2024 Mister Global.
- Song Seung Il (b. 2001) is a fashion marketer and model.
- Shin Hyun Woo (b. 1998) is a handball coach.
- Kim Jae Jin (b. 1998) is a dancer and choreographer, also appeared on Mnet’s Stage Fighter.
- Woo Sung Min (b. 1996) is an optician and has worked as an actor.
- Lim Soo Bin (b. 2002) is a model and actor, awarded Best Model at the 2022 Mister International Korea.
- Lee Sung Hun (b. 1998) graduated from UC Berkeley and works at an HFT-related company.
- Jo I Gun (b. 1992), a “male wildcard,” is an actor.
Female Contestants:
- Park Hee Seon (b. 2003) studies at Carnegie Mellon University, was a 2024 Miss Korea finalist, and is interning at global cosmetic brands.
- Kim Go Eun (b. 2000) is a model and 2022 Miss Korea finalist.
- Ham Ye Jin (b. 1996) works as a weathercaster.
- Kim Min Ji (b. 1996) is a track and field athlete, nicknamed “the Karina of athletics.”
- Lee Joo Young (b. 2000) is a craft artist.
- Mina Sue Choi (b. 1999) is a model and TV personality, 2021 Miss Korea finalist, and 2022 Miss Earth winner.
- Lee Ha Eun (b. 2003), a “female wildcard,” is a beauty model and actress.
'Single’s Inferno 5' is a dating reality show set on the isolated island of “Inferno,” where participants can only leave as couples. All episodes are available for streaming on Netflix.
