SHINee member and solo artist Taemin is set to take the stage on Amazon Music’s global performance series ‘In the Paint’.
On February 18th KST, his agency Big Planet Made Entertainment announced, “Taemin will appear on ‘Amazon Music presents: In the Paint’ (hereafter ‘In the Paint’), which will be released on the 19th (local time), becoming the first K pop artist to participate in the series.”
‘In the Paint’ is a global performance series presented by Amazon Music through its NBA postgame show. Blending basketball and music, the program reinterprets artists’ songs through courtside performances. Global pop stars such as Clipse, Nas, and YG have previously taken the stage. Taemin’s participation marks the first appearance by a K pop artist, further solidifying his global presence.
Meanwhile, Taemin is also set to perform in April at ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’, the world renowned music festival, marking another milestone in his expanding global career.
