Actor Park Bo Gum opened up about his popularity during his school days on tvN’s 'The Village Barber.'
On the February 20 broadcast of the variety show, a male guest who described himself as a drama enthusiast appeared on the program.
When asked whether he had been popular before his debut, Park Bo Gum responded modestly, “I received a few gifts on Valentine’s Day and Pepero Day,” adding, “I even got Pepero arranged in the shape of a heart.”
He continued, “Students from other schools would come to see me and wait in front of the school gate. In my neighborhood, there was practically no one who didn’t know my name.” Co-stars Lee Sang Yi and Kwak Dong Yeon reacted playfully to his comments, joking, “That’s not just a little,” and “It’s getting more and more exaggerated.”
In particular, when Park Bo Gum added, “Sometimes I took the bus, and they would ride with me,” Kwak Dong Yeon quipped, “People usually ride the bus together anyway,” drawing laughter from the set.
