NMIXX has heated up global excitement by becoming the first K-pop artist to attend the Viña del Mar Festival, followed by the official release of their new song on February 26th KST.
On February 25th (local time), NMIXX appeared at the "2026 Viña del Mar Festival", a representative Latin American festival held at the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater in Viña del Mar, Chile. Invited as the first K-pop artists to this massive festival boasting over 60 years of history, the members shone as an "all-ace girl group" through passionate performances in front of a massive crowd.
"Last year, we were invited as guests and watched from the audience, so it is an honor to stand on this stage as artists this time," the members shared. NMIXX performed a string of hits, including "O.O," "DASH," "Love Me Like This," and "Run For Roses," connecting with fans in the local language. The cheers from the audience, who had been chanting "NMIXX" even before the start, grew louder as the stage progressed, proving a level of satisfaction proportional to the decibels.
Special stages such as the Spanish version of "Sonar," "DICE" with its "Vamos amigos" shout-out, and "RICO," which blends Latin pop sounds with Spanish lyrics, drove fans wild. A cover of "Ponte Lokita" by popular local artists Katteyes and Kidd Voodoo turned into a thrilling surprise collaboration with Kidd Voodoo himself. The highlight was the performance of their new song "TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar)," first unveiled at the Brazilian Carnival in São Paulo on February 16th. The group lit up the Chilean night sky with even greater power after receiving a special trophy from their fans.
Following the São Paulo Carnival, which drew 2 million people, and the "K-pop first" stage at Viña del Mar, fans praised NMIXX’s energy at these iconic Latin American festivals, saying, "The harmony between NMIXX and the immense scale and passion of the festival is fantastic," and "I’m proud to see them expanding across the world."
Building on this momentum, NMIXX officially releases their new song "TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar)" today (the 26th). This marks their second collaboration with Brazil’s representative artist Pabllo Vittar, following last August's "MEXE." The track is a signature "MIXX POP" song featuring a fast-paced progression and an addictive chorus. It carries the message of "enjoying life without missing a single moment in a busy world," with member Lily adding authenticity by participating in the lyrics.
Ahead of the release, the members shared through JYP Entertainment: "We are excited to communicate more deeply with fans through 'TIC TIC.' It was a joy to work with Pabllo Vittar again, and we learned a lot. Both the dance and song are fresh and addictive—we think the 'Tic-Tic-Tic-Tic' chorus will get stuck in everyone's heads! We will continue to show new sides of ourselves and deliver happy stages and music." "TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar)" is available on various music sites starting at noon on February 26th.
