Singer Lim Young Woong once again confirmed his unrivaled standing in Korea’s music consumption landscape by placing nine songs on the YouTube Music chart in a single week.
According to YouTube Music charts and statistics, Lim Young Woong had a total of nine videos listed on the “Korea Weekly Popular Music Videos” Top 100 chart for the period from January 30 to February 5. It is rare for a single artist to enter the weekly chart with this many entries at once.
The most notable achievement in this tally was his strong presence in the upper ranks. “Eternal Moment” secured No. 9 and landed in the Top 10, while “ULSSIGU” placed at No. 11. In addition, the performance version of “ULSSIGU” also charted at No. 20, meaning two separate videos of the same song appeared simultaneously within the rankings.
His presence remained clear in the mid and lower tiers as well. “Wild Flower” ranked No. 22, “I’m Sorry, But...” followed at No. 23, “Don’t Look Back at me” placed No. 27, “A SONG FOR US” came in at No. 34, and “Melody for You” reached No. 36. The animated special video “Home (SPECIAL MUSIC ANIMATION)” also entered the chart at No. 96.
The spectrum of songs on the chart was notably wide, ranging from emotional ballads to rhythmic tracks, performance videos, and special content. This variety highlights both the broad public appeal and the lasting consumption power of Lim Young Woong’s music.
Industry insiders commented, “For one artist to place nine songs simultaneously on YouTube’s weekly Top 100 requires not only dedicated fandom streaming but also repeated plays from the general public. It shows that Lim Young Woong’s music has become an everyday choice beyond a specific generation.”
Meanwhile, his agency Fish Music announced on February 8 that Lim Young Woong will hold a solo concert, ‘Lim Young Woong I’m Hero Stadium 2,’ this September at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province.
