Actor Kang You Seok successfully wrapped up his fan meeting in Japan.
On February 7 KST, Kang You Seok met local fans through his first solo fan meeting, ‘2026 KANG YOUSEOK FANMEETING -Nice to Meet You SEOK-’, held at Hitotsubashi Hall at the Japan Education Center in Tokyo, delivering a deeply moving experience.
The event drew high anticipation after all seats sold out immediately upon ticket release. However, tension arose just before the show due to Kang You Seok’s sudden decline in condition. Although some program adjustments were unavoidable, he showed strong determination to go on stage, appearing with a bright smile and receiving warm applause from fans.
His sincerity stood out even more amid the unexpected situation. Taking his health into consideration, some game segments had initially been set to be omitted, but Kang You Seok volunteered to proceed with them. He continued engaging closely with fans through an on the spot team battle and a signed ball event. Near the end of the show, he became emotional in response to fans’ support, his eyes welling up with tears. Still, he maintained his smile to the end, responsibly completing the encore performance of ‘When That Day Comes’ as well as a high touch session.
