IVE officially kicked off their comeback alongside fans.
On February 23rd at 6 PM KST, IVE released their second full length album ‘REVIVE+’, followed by a fan showcase at 7 PM at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin gu, Seoul. The showcase was livestreamed via TikTok and YouTube, allowing the group to connect with DIVE, their official fandom, around the world.
IVE immediately proved their star power from the opening stage. The group began with their pre released double title track ‘BANG BANG,’ which had dropped on the 9th. Shortly after the performance, the MC announced that the song had reached No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 chart, drawing explosive cheers from fans. The surprise chart topping news heightened the excitement at the venue.
As their first full album in approximately two years and ten months, the showcase featured in depth album introductions along with various talk segments and interactive corners. The members shared their thoughts on preparing the long awaited album and revealed behind the scenes stories from filming the music video for the title track ‘BLACKHOLE.’ In particular, they surprised fans by confirming that a scene filmed atop a 555 meter skyscraper was shot on location.
A special listening session followed, offering insights into the production process and key highlights of both title tracks and selected B sides. IVE also demonstrated the point choreography for ‘BANG BANG’ and ‘BLACKHOLE,’ and for the first time since debut, introduced solo tracks from all six members.
The “REVIVE+ Heart” segment, featuring heartfelt messages and anticipation notes written directly by fans, drew warm responses. The members selected messages to read aloud and expressed their gratitude, striking playful poses in response to comments referencing ‘BLACKHOLE’ and ‘BANG BANG,’ creating a lively and affectionate atmosphere.
Closing the showcase, IVE shared, “Since this is a full album we’re releasing after a long time, we prepared it over an extended period. While working on it, we couldn’t wait to show it to DIVE. We’re truly happy to finally share it with you. The six of us put a lot of effort into this album, and we hope DIVE can enjoy it happily with us.”
The title ‘REVIVE+’ carries the meaning of reigniting a flame. Beyond simply relighting a spark, the album represents IVE’s ambition to let the fire bearing their name spread farther and wider.
Following the album’s release, IVE topped major domestic music platforms including Melon, Bugs, Genie, Flo, and Vibe as of 8 AM on the 24th. All tracks, including the members’ solo songs, also entered Melon’s Hot 100 (within 100 days of release), reaffirming IVE’s strong digital presence. With ‘BLACKHOLE’ quickly settling into the Top 100 chart, attention remains focused on the group’s continued success both in Korea and internationally.
