
BLACKSWAN member Gabi drew attention when she attended the state dinner for Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Blue House in Seoul.
The dinner, held on February 23, welcomed President Lula on his official visit to South Korea. Government officials and business leaders from both countries were in attendance. Among the guests was Gabi, the Brazilian-born member of the K-pop girl group BLACKSWAN, who captured the public eye.
During the event, President Lula greeted Gabi and was seen kissing the back of her hand. The moment was captured on video and posted on his official Instagram account. As of the morning of February 26, the clip had surpassed 1.2 million views.
Additionally, President Lula shared a separate video set to BLACKSWAN’s song “Cat & Mouse,” which has now exceeded 5.6 million views. Gabi’s agency, DR MUSIC, commented, “Both the artist and the agency were surprised to be invited to such an unexpected occasion, but we feel honored to contribute to cultural exchange between Korea and Brazil.”
Gabi is a member of BLACKSWAN, a K-pop girl group composed entirely of international members. She comes from Santa Catarina, Brazil.
