IVE’s An Yujin quietly demonstrated her generosity by making a significant donation earlier this year. She contributed over 100 million KRW (approximately 75,000 USD) to the Korea Breast Health Foundation, with the funds earmarked to support breast cancer patients’ medical expenses, research initiatives, and public awareness campaigns.
According to reports, An Yujin requested that her donation remain confidential. Even her agency was reportedly unaware of the contribution, highlighting her discreet approach to philanthropy. The foundation later confirmed the donation, stating, “An Yujin made the contribution directly through our official website. Following her wishes, we are unable to disclose further details.”
An Yujin has a history of quietly engaging in charitable activities. A representative said, “She consistently donates without seeking attention, simply wanting to make even a small difference.”
IVE as a group has also been active in supporting disaster relief and social causes. In 2023, they donated 150 million KRW (approximately 112,500 USD) for emergency relief efforts following the Turkey–Syria earthquake.
Additionally, the group contributed a total of 200 million KRW (approximately 150,000 USD) in March 2023 to aid victims of simultaneous wildfires in the Gyeongsang region and to improve conditions and awareness for on-site firefighters. In November of the same year, they provided 50 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately 75,000 USD) to assist with emergency rescue and recovery efforts following a major fire in Hong Kong.
IVE has maintained a long-term partnership with Papa Johns, where 1,000 KRW (approximately 0.75 USD) from each order is donated to Good Neighbors’ crisis child support initiatives. Furthermore, An Yujin and fellow member Jang Wonyoung donated their prize money from the 2023 episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' entirely to Good Neighbors to help children in need across Korea.
Meanwhile, IVE recently made a comeback with their second full album, 'REVIVE+.' Their double title tracks, “BANG BANG” and “BLACK HOLE,” have dominated charts, achieving impressive dual-hit success.
