BLACKPINK continues to solidify its status as the Biggest Girl Group on the planet.

According to the latest update from Guinness World Records, BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel has reached 99.3 million subscribers and surpassed 40.7 billion total views. With these numbers, BLACKPINK has been certified as the "Most subscribers for a Band" and the "Most Views for a Band" on YouTube globally, surpassing all internationally renowned artists in the music industry, reaffirming its absolute dominance on digital platforms.

These latest Guinness World Records mark a new chapter in BLACKPINK's extraordinary career and reflect the group's broad cultural impact and their strong, enduring connection with their fans around the world, known as BLINKs. The group's music videos, live performances, and behind-the-scenes content has maintained unstoppable growth since their debut in 2016 and consistently generate the highest levels of engagement among K-pop artists.

BLACKPINK's iconic hits like "Boombayah", "As If It's Your Last", "How You Like That," and "Pink Venom" have each amassed over 1 billion views on YouTube, while their acclaimed "DDU-DU DDU-DU" was the "First K-Pop group song to reach 2 Billion views," a milestone achieved in July 2023. "Kill This Love," another fan favorite song, also crossed the 2 billion view mark in September 2024. Even the dance performance for "How You Like That" currently boasts over 1.8 Billion views, an unusual feat for a choreography video.

It's worth noting that with each passing day, BLACKPINK is just one step closer to receiving the prestigious "Red Diamond Play Button", an award YouTube reserves exclusively for channels that surpass 100 million subscribers. This milestone would not only make them the "First Musical Group to reach such a number", but also the "First Asian act to achieve this historic feat". Based on current daily growth metrics, the group is expected to cross the finish line in the coming weeks, marking a turning point in the era of global streaming.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has marked their highly anticipated official group comeback with the release of their third mini-album, 'DEADLINE,' scheduled for February 27. After a hiatus of more than three years since their last physical release, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are once again solidifying their reign in K-pop with a proposal that fuses high-quality music and an unprecedented visual display.

The mini-album will include five tracks, highlighting the lead single "Go" and the previous hit "Jump," originally released in July 2025. According to YG Entertainment, production was deliberately delayed to achieve "musical perfection" and to thank fans for their patience with a higher-level project.

With record advance sales and an expanded cultural presence, 2026 is positioned as the year of the "Grand Return" for BLACKPINK.
