Mnet’s iconic hip-hop survival show ‘Show Me The Money 12’ is set to return after three years, already building buzz by revealing the massive scale of changes coming in season 12.
Since its debut in 2012, the series has led the mainstream rise of hip-hop in Korea. This season, it records its highest number of applicants ever, with around 36,000 hopefuls applying through auditions held nationwide and overseas.
Season 12 also expands to 12 episodes for the first time and introduces a major collaboration with TVING, launching a hidden league titled ‘Yacha’s World’ that will be released exclusively on TVING two days after each broadcast.

The competition itself grows tougher, with contestants required to clear 11 missions to reach the final stage. Global auditions further raised the stakes, with rap verses submitted in 24 languages, highlighting the show’s increasingly international scope.
‘Show Me The Money 12’ premieres on January 15 at 9:20 PM KST on Mnet and TVING.
