Actors Nam Ji Hyun and Moon Sang Min shared warm New Year greetings as they prepare to meet viewers through their upcoming drama 'To My Beloved Thief.'
The two star in KBS-2TV’s new weekend mini-series, which is set to premiere on January 3 at 9:20 p.m. Written by Lee Sun and directed by Ham Young Geol, the drama marks the pair’s first on-screen collaboration.
'To My Beloved Thief' opens the door to a fateful story. Nam Ji Hyun takes on the role of Hong Eun Jo, a medical woman at Hyeminseo who spends her days caring for the sick. By night, however, she transforms into the legendary thief Gildong, living a double life that conceals her true identity.
Moon Sang Min plays Yi Yeol, the Prince of Dowol. Hiding his royal status, he works as a government officer and becomes unexpectedly entangled with Eun Jo, setting the stage for an unpredictable relationship.
Newly released stills from the drama further heighten anticipation. In the images, Eun Jo and Yi Yeol stand face to face in the middle of a bustling marketplace, their social statuses and appearances seemingly reversed. The striking contrast has sparked curiosity about how their destinies will collide in the series.
Meanwhile, 'To My Beloved Thief' tells the story of a woman who becomes the greatest thief in the land and a prince who once pursued her, only for the two to experience a soul-switch that turns their worlds upside down. With romance, fantasy, and intrigue woven together, the drama is already drawing attention as a highly anticipated new-year release.
