Singer KCM has announced the birth of his third child and revealed that he will be joining KBS2’s family variety show The Return of Superman (Superman Is Back).
On Jan. 1, KCM shared the news through his personal social media account, writing, “Happy New Year 2026. I’d like to share some happy news on the first day of the year.” He explained that his third child was born earlier than expected on Dec. 20 of last year, adding, “It seems our baby couldn’t wait to see mom and dad. A precious child has come into our lives surrounded by so much blessing.”
KCM noted that he was announcing the news a bit later due to personal circumstances, but chose to share it on New Year’s Day. “Please congratulate us a lot,” he wrote.
He also confirmed his appearance on "The Return of Superman", saying, “I’m grateful to be joining the warm and heartfelt program Superman Is Back. Through it, we hope to sincerely share our family—our everyday moments of laughter, tears, and life as it is.” He added, “We may seem lacking at times, but we would appreciate it if you watch over us with warm hearts, and please send lots of support and prayers for our third child.”
KCM previously registered his marriage in January 2022 with his wife, who is nine years younger than him. Last year, he revealed for the first time that he has two daughters whom he had not publicly disclosed before. His eldest daughter is now 14, and his second daughter is four years old. With the recent birth, KCM is now the father of three.
The singer has also spoken candidly about his past. In 2012, while dating his current wife, he became a father at the age of 30. Although he hoped to marry and build a family, he faced severe financial difficulties at the time after being betrayed and scammed by acquaintances. Despite not being able to marry then, he took responsibility and raised his child together with his partner.
After years of struggle in the entertainment industry, KCM’s situation improved around 2019. He eventually married in 2021, nine years after the birth of his first daughter, and welcomed his second daughter in 2022. Although he initially planned to share news of his second child, he hesitated out of consideration for his first daughter, whose existence had not been made public, and chose to remain silent. The story later became known through media reports last year.
With the arrival of his third child and his upcoming appearance on The Return of Superman, KCM is set to share a new chapter of his family life with viewers.
