On January 11, former Super Junior member KANGIN officially kicked off his ‘STUNNING TOGETHER’ fan meeting tour with a stop in Manila.
After opening the show by serenading the audience with his clear vocals, KANGIN shared afterward that as the dates of his fan meetings approach, he starts to feel anxious about getting on stage
He said, “I was very excited, and very nervous and anxious as well. But meeting you, I’m so happy. Thanks to your passionate welcome, I think my anxiety level went down.”
After taking the stage, KANGIN sat down to talk about his recent life updates. He spent the first days of 2026 preparing for the tour and shared that the day of the fan meeting felt like the day he truly welcomed the new year.
KANGIN’s last visit to the Philippines was in October 2013 for Super Junior’s ‘Super Show 5’ concert. Thirteen years later, KANGIN has returned as a solo artist. “After all the time that has passed, I’m happy to be able to come back,” he shared.
When asked what the tour means to him, KANGIN replied, “Ever since my debut up until this day, my fans have always been with me. Thinking about this, I realized that together with the fans, we shine brightly—so I named the tour ‘STUNNING TOGETHER’.” He added that he created the fan meeting with a heart of trying his best to give back, so “we can meet in one space face-to-face to brighten up each other.”
During the show, KANGIN shared a special video featuring his preparations. He revealed that because he does not enjoy using social media, he wanted to share the footage exclusively so fans in attendance could personally see the clips.
One of the most memorable ways he prepared for the tour was through his diet. He revealed, “I think I lost around 7 kgs because I want to look handsome for you.”
KANGIN noted that communication was his priority: “I want to have the chance to be close to you, make eye contact, and share stories. One of the biggest goals for this fan meeting is to make you happy, smile, and laugh. My biggest desire is to create unforgettable memories with you.”
The artist said that through this fan meeting, he felt emotions that he couldn't quite describe. “I’ll do my best to grow even more,” he added.
As the show neared its end, KANGIN shared a heartfelt message to the fans who waited over a decade for his return to Manila: “For the past 10 years, a lot of changes have happened in my life. But one thing never changes: your support did not change. Because of the support you’ve given me, I found the courage to stand on stage again. This is the reason why I have the courage to try again. I have had some personal difficulties, but even during those times, what made me stronger was the love and support you gave me.”
KANGIN also performed the tracks “Mientes” and “Love Is Pain,” among others. He also surprised the crowd with a performance of Super Junior’s “Pajama Party.”
Meanwhile, KANGIN is set to continue with the tour in Vietnam, Mexico, Peru, and Chile until February 1.
