Seventeen's Seungkwan has made a quiet but meaningful donation of 10 million KRW (approx. 6,818 USD) to support abandoned dogs.
On January 12, the abandoned dog shelter Jeju Hallim Shelter shared a donation certificate on Instagram, confirming Seungkwan’s contribution of 10 million KRW.
The donation is reportedly connected to Seungkwan’s recent participation in ELLE Korea’s “Hello Little Love” project alongside his pet dog, Bbookkeu. The campaign focused on the theme of coexisting with animals.
Following the ELLE photoshoot, Seungkwan is said to have personally expressed his intention to donate to the shelter. In response, the shelter thanked him, stating, “We are truly grateful. We will make sure the donation is used meaningfully for the dogs at the shelter.”
Meanwhile, Seungkwan and fellow Seventeen member DK recently returned with a winter ballad release. At 6 PM on the same day, they unveiled their first mini album, 'Serenade,' led by the title track “Blue.” Through the song, the two artists sing about love that moves at different paces.
