G-Dragon has once again proven his unmatched global influence, becoming the only Korean artist to be invited for two consecutive years to France’s prestigious Yellow Coins Charity Gala.
G-Dragon is set to take the stage on January 22 (local time) at La Défense Arena in Paris for Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes. His appearance was once again extended through an official invitation from Brigitte Macron, France’s First Lady and chair of the hospital foundation behind the event.
Notably, G-Dragon is the only Korean artist to receive invitations two years in a row, underscoring his exceptional standing in the global music and cultural landscape.
The Yellow Coins Charity initiative is organized by Opération Pièces Jaunes, a foundation dedicated to supporting hospital construction for children and funding mental health care programs for youth. Deeply resonating with the cause, G-Dragon readily accepted the invitation, aiming to spread positive influence and goodwill through his performance.
Last year, G-Dragon represented Korea at the same event, drawing enthusiastic responses from French fans and widespread praise from local media for his commanding stage presence and refined artistry. His contribution was widely credited with helping amplify the charity’s mission on a global scale—an impact that directly led to this year’s renewed invitation.
Adding to the anticipation, G-Dragon recently concluded a sold-out Paris stop of his world tour G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR Übermensch at La Défense Arena, where approximately 29,000 fans filled the venue. Following the concert, local audiences flooded social media with acclaim, calling it “overwhelming,” “the best concert of my life,” and “an unforgettable night.” That explosive response is expected to carry over into the upcoming charity gala, further elevating the atmosphere.
The Yellow Coins Charity Gala performance featuring G-Dragon will take place on January 22 (local time), with the broadcast scheduled to air on January 30 via French terrestrial channel France 2.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon will hold his first-ever solo fan meeting since debut from February 6 to 8 at Seoul’s KSPO DOME. Tickets will be available starting January 21 at 8 PM (KST) via NOL Ticket (Interpark), exclusively for b.stage (FAM ONLY) members.
