Daniele has fueled speculation about a possible move toward solo activities after opening a personal account on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu, also known as Little Red Book.
While she has yet to upload any posts, the account surpassed 10,000 followers shortly after its creation, drawing significant attention. It was also reported that the account is followed by her older sister, singer Olivia Marsh. Danielle’s side has not released an official statement. However, fans are increasingly convinced the account belongs to Danielle, citing its identical name to her previously launched Instagram account and her sister’s follow as key clues.
Meanwhile, on January 12, Danielle briefly communicated with fans through her personal Instagram account. She has been embroiled in a dispute with ADOR over her exclusive contract and, after losing a lawsuit late last year that sought to confirm the contract’s validity, expressed her intention to return to group activities.

However, on December 29, ADOR announced that it had notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract, stating, “We plan to pursue legal responsibility against one member of Danielle’s family and former CEO Min Hee Jin, who bears significant responsibility for causing this contract dispute and for NewJeans’ departure and delayed return.”
ADOR subsequently filed a damages lawsuit seeking approximately 43 billion KRW (29.3 million USD) against Danielle, her family, and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. Unlike Danielle, members Hyein, Haerin, and Hanni have returned to ADOR, while discussions regarding Minji’s potential return are still ongoing.
Amid these developments, Danielle addressed fans directly through an Instagram Live after opening her personal account on the 12th. At the time, her legal representative, law firm HwaWoo, stated, “This live broadcast is solely for sincere communication with fans and is unrelated to the ongoing lawsuit.”

During the livestream, Danielle grew emotional, saying, “It feels a bit unfamiliar to greet you like this. Saying ‘thank you for waiting’ doesn’t feel sufficient. Bunnies stayed right where they were. That warmth lingers for a long time.” She added, “When I think of Bunnies, the first thing that comes to mind is your eyes—the moments we faced each other on stage, the silence before the music begins. Those memories quietly support who I am today.”
She continued, “I didn’t say much about the past. Under unfamiliar skies, I met myself again, and I kept stories meant for Bunnies in my heart. I haven’t shared them yet, but I believe I will someday.”
Danielle remained cautious when addressing the lawsuit. “Many things are still being sorted out,” she said. “When the time comes, I’ll talk about what happened and answer the questions you’re curious about.” She concluded, “But this I can say clearly: NewJeans is always in one corner of my heart—every member, sincerely. Even if we stand in slightly different places, we’ll share the same heart and support as one Bunnies.”
