Actor Choi Daniel has been affected by a hacking incident involving his YouTube channel.
On January 30, Choi Daniel announced through his official homepage, “My Google account was hacked, which led to my YouTube channel also being compromised,” and added, “We are currently carrying out recovery measures through various methods.”
His agency, Starload Company, also released a statement via social media, saying, “Videos unrelated to the actor and the original channel are currently being uploaded,” and emphasized, “We are taking all possible actions to ensure a prompt recovery.”
At present, visitors to Choi Daniel’s YouTube channel are met only with a notice stating, “This channel is no longer accessible.” The agency further noted, “We will provide an additional update once the recovery process has been completed.”
Choi Daniel has operated his YouTube channel, Choi Tube, since 2023, where he has shared diverse content, including vlogs, and live broadcasts.
