Eunhwi of TNX survived the "pit of fire" death round on the January 29 broadcast of 'Show Me The Money 12', leaving a strong impression on the producers as well as viewers.
On this episode, a total of 73 contestants successfully passed the 60-second death round, moving onto the third round of the survival. One of those contestants was Eunhwi, who introduced himself as an idol rapper who "auditioned purely out of his own will".
The TNX member then began his 60-second rap to the beat "MIC Slayer" prod. by Anywaywell, displaying a controlled professionalism throughout with his rhythmic flow and clear pronunciation.
After the stage, producer Zico commented, "I could tell that you practiced crazy hard. It was the product of ultra-preparedness. It felt like your rap had strong, well-trained muscles when it started interacting with the music." Another producer, Hukky Shibaseki, agreed, "Because of that, your stage felt sincere."
Next week on 'Show Me The Money 12', the remaining contestants will face in deadly 1:1 battles with the theme of a "Song Camp in Hell". Eunhwi will attempt to survive another nerve-wracking round alongside 3 other K-Pop idols still in the competition, including TAG of One Pact, Jung Sunhye of YOUNG POSSE, and Vahn of NINE.i.
Meanwhile, TNX most recently released their 2nd digital single, "Call Me Back", earlier this month on January 22 KST.
